Project: The esteemed Cherokee Country Club entrusted L+ARC with a transformative endeavor aimed at enhancing its street presence, increase wayfinding illumination, and preserving the understated elegance of its historic facade. Following recent modernization efforts within the interior, attention turned to the exterior, particularly to accommodate the rising demand for evening events.

With a commitment to seamlessly integrating modern enhancements while honoring the club's rich heritage. An existing majestic walnut tree, strategically positioned, became a focal point for our illumination strategy. Collaborating closely with skilled installers, we meticulously aimed luminaires from ground level and discreetly mounted them within the tree's sprawling network of limbs and trunk. This thoughtful approach not only served to illuminate the path to the parking lot but also accentuated the natural grandeur and allure of the foliage.

The stucco facade provided an ideal canvas against which to showcase the illuminated landscape. By skillfully orchestrating the interplay between light and shadow, we ensured that the architectural integrity of the historic structure remained uncompromised while imbuing it with a newfound vibrancy and allure after nightfall.
